It's a NEW CAR!!!

Cate has wheels!  It was very easy for me to get away with buying a walker when it's also a jeep.  Now Daddy and Daughter have matching rides.  She only gets around a little bit right now, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time before she's trucking it all over he house.  Right now she's completely satisfied with honking her horn, hitting the "engine sound" button and chewing on her keys.

Cate is taking her baths in the sink now.  Since she can sit up, she does not want to lean back in her little tub.  She likes to try and grab the running water.  She likes to grab for anything now, my hair, my phone, my hand...

Our trip to Sams

I'm not sure how we even got here, Cate seems so big all of a sudden!  I've noticed so many different things aboiut her in just the last couple of days.  I just posted that she sat up for the first time and now she loves sitting up and can do it for a while!  We were headed to Sam's and decided to leave the carseat in the car and put her in the cart.  She did great!!! Towards the end she started to fall asleep sitting up.  I held her and she was out!

Big Night!!!

Cate sat up on her own!!!!  She lasted long enough for me to grab the camera and take 2 photos.  Then she fell backwards and I didn't catch her.  She didn't like that.  She also got her Sophie Giraffe.  It's easy for her to hold on to and she likes to wack it around so it makes a squeeky sound.

Cate is 5 months!!!

Cate turned 5 months today!  We celebrated by  eating her first vegetable.  Sweet potatoes was on the menue.  At times she seemed to like it, but others she wasn't so sure.  We did our monthly photo shoot and took a bath.  She was very tired and was asleep in her crib by 7:30.
